PREVIEW STORIES // FOUNDATION 2K26
Welcome to “Sanitarium Blackwood”.
The foundation is in place. Two paths lead into the same dark world of Sanitarium Blackwood. We are deliberately opening the door only a crack – enough to sense where the journey is heading, but not enough to know what will really happen inside.
Built around 1800 as a place of refuge, Blackwood was meant to protect people who had nowhere else to go. But over the years, the place changed. A hospital became an isolated sanitarium – and care slowly became control.
By the 1920s at the latest, the institution had fallen under the rule of a chief physician whose interests had long since moved beyond healing. Obsessed with dark magic, rituals and horrific experiments, he crossed boundaries that should never have been crossed.
What happened behind the walls was concealed. Voices in the corridors, sealed wards and patients whose names disappeared from the records became rumours. Then even the police who were called to the site vanished without a trace. From that point on, only one warning remained: Anyone who enters Blackwood cannot know whether they will ever find their way out.
STORY IINTENSE
The Blood Rush (Intensive Marathon)
You enter Blackwood with one thought in mind: discover what lies behind the madness of this place – and find your way back out. But from the first steps, the sanitarium seems to react to your presence. Voices draw closer, figures appear where nobody stood moments before, and every new clue pulls you deeper into a past that should have stayed buried. Soon it is no longer clear who is a patient, who is a guard, and who has long since become something else entirely. What you are looking for in Blackwood may find you first.
STORY IIEXTREME
The Martyrdom (The Eternal Damnation)
Those who remain in Blackwood longer begin to feel the line between staying and being held there disappear. The institution seems to follow a rhythm of its own: apparent calm becomes part of the threat, familiar voices lose their meaning, and scattered fragments slowly form a picture nobody was meant to see in full. The deeper you allow Blackwood to draw you in, the harder one question becomes to ignore: is the place merely watching you – or has it already decided that you belong there? How far this stay truly goes remains locked behind closed doors for now.
